Meet Zach Pryor: Project Manager & Designer at Sean’s Cabinetry

Meet Zach Pryor, who brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every project at Sean’s Cabinetry. As both a project manager and a designer at Sean’s Cabinetry, he combines creative vision with practical know-how, making him an invaluable part of the team. When he’s not helping clients bring their dream kitchens to life, Zach spends his weekends with his wife, at church, or working on home projects—his personal version of therapy.

Outside of cabinetry, Zach has a unique gift for grief and addiction counseling, something those close to him often admire. He’s also someone who thrives on being prepared for the unexpected, both in life and in work.

Zach’s Faith & Love for History

Zach’s guiding philosophy? “Love Jesus and love others first, then all of your own stuff will work itself out.” That heart-centered approach is reflected in the way he lives, leads, listens, and delivers exceptional results for our clients.

Zach’s curiosity and love for history would take him straight to the mountains and old cities of Germany and Austria, where breathtaking landscapes meet deeply rooted stories from the past. He is absolutely fascinated by World War II history.

Ask Zach to share a fun fact, and he’ll keep you guessing—he’d rather keep it fun because it’s a secret. But one thing he doesn’t keep quiet about is his faith and love for God. His favorite book? The Bible. To Zach, it’s unmatched in wisdom, mystery, action, and humanity—offering more drama and plot twists than even the best thrillers by Stephen King or Jack Carr.

When it comes to food, Zach, our Designer at Sean’s Cabinetry, doesn’t mess around. His pick is dense, rich New York-style cheesecake—no shortcuts, no fluff, and absolutely no no-bake versions. Just the real deal.

If he could share a meal with anyone in history, it would be Jesus. Zach admires how deeply transformative those encounters were, and how people walked away changed—ready to love others with open hearts. That spirit of compassion shapes how he approaches both life and leadership.

Still on his bucket list? Learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. To Zach, being able to offer a helping hand—whether emotional, spiritual, or physical—is what it’s all about. He brings that same energy to Sean’s Cabinetry: thoughtful, grounded, and always ready to serve.

Zach’s Education & First Job

Zach grew up all over central Ohio, with Columbus holding the biggest piece of his heart—he’s a proud Buckeyes fan through and through.

He earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Taylor University in Indiana, and went on to receive his M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Zach, our designer at Sean’s Cabinetry began his cabinetry journey early—working with his dad on old HUD homes before he was even 10. Those family renovation projects taught him the fundamentals of home repair and sparked a lifelong passion for craftsmanship. That early experience laid the foundation for the career he’s been building in cabinetry for the past 20 years.

Zach’s Professional Journey As A Designer at Sean’s Cabinetry

Zach joined Sean’s Cabinetry in November 2021 after being connected through a headhunter Sean had hired to find the right fit—and clearly, he did. Since starting, Zach’s role has evolved significantly, reflecting the company’s rapid growth (around 30% year-over-year for four years and counting). During that time, Zach and his wife bought a home in Buffalo, MN, marking a new chapter both personally and professionally.

What excites Zach most about working at Sean’s Cabinetry? The people: both clients and coworkers. He finds deep fulfillment in helping others move forward, whether that’s through a perfectly designed kitchen or a meaningful conversation.

Two projects stand out in Zach’s career so far. One was for a local couple who rebuild race engines; their once-cramped farmhouse kitchen was transformed into a compact marvel. Two years later, the client still stops by just to say thank you—and to grab extra business cards for her impressed friends.

The other was a project for someone in the entertainment industry, where Zach helped convert a narrow “kayak closet” into a sleek office and fit a complex, engineered design into a small kitchen. The client’s collaboration and gratitude made it especially rewarding.

Zach’s journey with Sean’s Cabinetry continues to be shaped by growth, meaningful work, and the relationships he builds along the way.

From construction knowledge and space planning to client communication and project management, he does it all. He, however, believes that his most valuable strengths are active listening, problem-solving, and keeping perspective under pressure. These traits allow him to guide homeowners through what can be a stressful process and turn it into something exciting and rewarding.

We are so grateful and honored to have a man of such integrity, experience, and heart on our team at Sean’s Cabinetry. Zach’s passion for craftsmanship and people makes him an incredible asset—and an even better human being to work alongside.
