Cabinet Styles 101
The Main Types Of Cabinets
Style 1: Frameless
Frameless cabinets offer a modern, sleek look. The cabinet doors are attached to the inside of the cabinet box rather than the front. There is not a vertical spire in the middle of the cabinet. This creates more storage space inside the cabinet and it’s easy to adjust shelves.
Style 2: Inset
Inset is a style of framed cabinet with a 1 ½ frame around the edges and a vertical stile in the middle. The doors are attached flush with the frame, so they are set into it rather than atop it. The frame reduces the storage space inside the cabinet compared to frameless.
Style 3: Framed (aka Face Frame)
In this style, the cabinet box is built with a 1 ½ inch frame around the edges and a vertical stile in the middle. The cabinet doors attach to the frame. It’s a more traditional, vintage look, but you lose some interior cabinet space and it’s harder to adjust your shelves.

Is Custom Really Worth It?
We Think So. Here’s Why.
Fits YOUR Kitchen
Mass-produced cabinets are designed to fit most kitchens, but they may not fit & fill your space quite right.
Unlock More Space
Custom cabinets don't waste an inch. In fact, we find and use space you didn’t know you had.
Comparable Pricing
After paying for someone to install your big box store cabinets, they’re actually a similar price to ours.
“I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.
They kept us informed throughout our whole cabinet experience and it was amazing. The installers were just fantastic and a breath of fresh air to deal with. A great company with high standards and quality work! Highly recommend them and we will definitely be calling them back for more projects in the future.”

Cabinet Questions
What Homeowners Want To Know About Custom Cabinets
-
We recommend gentle care. You can use mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth to remove any food or splatters. We also recommend using a wood conditioning oil periodically.
-
Most projects take 8 - 12 weeks from the date of our first design appointment until the installation is complete.
-
You are welcome to be home, of course, but you do not have to take time off from work for the installation. We just need to be able to get into the room we’re working on, and we can take it from there.
-
The options are nearly endless, but don’t worry! We can help you narrow down the search so you aren’t overwhelmed.
-
Yes! This is one of the primary reasons to partner with a custom cabinet contractor. We can unlock space you didn’t know you had and help you get the most efficient layout possible.
