Responsibilities:

As a Purchasing Coordinator at Sean’s Cabinetry, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and components needed for cabinetry production. You will work closely with the production, design, and operations teams to ensure that materials are ordered in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the procurement of raw materials, components, and hardware required for cabinet production.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and timely delivery of materials.

  • Tracking inventory levels and ensuring that materials are ordered in advance to avoid delays in production.

  • Collaborating with the production and design teams to determine material requirements for upcoming projects.

  • Ensuring that all materials meet the specifications and quality standards outlined by the design and production teams.

  • Monitoring the supply chain for potential disruptions, identifying issues, and proactively resolving them to avoid delays.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing transactions, supplier communications, and inventory levels.

  • Implementing and tracking cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of material quality and availability.

  • Working with the Integrator and leadership team to align purchasing activities with the company's strategic objectives.

  • Supporting the 2-Second Lean Methodology by identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the purchasing and supply chain processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • We strongly value real-world, hands-on experience. An associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is a plus but not required. 

  • We are open to training candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, mindset, and willingness to learn. Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain coordination is preferred but not required. 

Procurement & Supply Chain Skills

  • Proven ability to source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for materials, components, and hardware.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Purchasing workflows
      Vendor management

    • Lead times and order planning

  • Ability to secure cost-effective pricing while maintaining quality standards.

  • Experience in monitoring supply chains and proactively addressing delays, shortages, or disruptions.

Inventory & Planning

  • Experience tracking and managing inventory levels to support production schedules.

  • Ability to forecast material needs based on project timelines and production demands.

  • Strong organizational skills in maintaining accurate purchasing records, logs, and documentation.

  • Familiarity with inventory systems, spreadsheets, or ERP/CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Excel, QuickBooks).

In alignment with the EOS Business Model, the Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the company’s vision by ensuring that the necessary materials are in place to meet the production demands. You will collaborate with the leadership team, including the Integrator, to ensure that your role is contributing to the overall strategy and goals of the company.
