Granite is a classic stone choice and the warm hues suit a traditional style kitchen or bath very well. Some things to note about granite are:

  • You need to reseal the surface every six months 

  • You should select cleaning products carefully and wipe up spills quickly, or they can leave a stain

What Homeowners Want To Know About New Countertops

 

  • We recommend gentle care. You can use mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth to remove any food or splatters. Some types of stone, like granite, need to be resealed every 6 months.

  • Most projects take 8 - 12 weeks from the date of our first design appointment until the installation is complete.

  • You are welcome to be home, of course, but you do not have to take time off from work for the installation. We just need to be able to get into the room we’re working on, and we can take it from there.

  • Locally made Cambria quartz is our most popular, but we can install any natural stone surface you prefer, such as granite or marble.
